Poetry n Motion

POETRY n MOTION

This planet we stand on
Hurtling through space
With its wobbly spin …
We’re almost oblivious

Enough so to proclaim
That we can stand still

We surrender to motion
Car, bus, plane or boat
Forgetting after a while
That we’re moving at all

Until some sudden jerk
Serves as if to remind us

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. I love this, Ben! And those last two lines send me off onto all kinds of metaphorical tracks. 😊

  3. Nice. Sudden jerks remind us so many things we love to forget.
