A Gift From Heaven
A GIFT FROM HEAVEN
Walking
With loved ones
Or close friends
And talking
Sometimes you don’t
Need anything more
Beautiful surroundings
An added bonus
A gift from Heaven
Overcast
OVERCAST
We’ve had words
Now there’s just silence
Hanging in the air
Our backs are turned
We stare into the distance
For the present moment is
Too uncomfortable to bear
Perhaps in time …
Hopefully
~~~~~ ~ ~~~~~
This was composed for crispina kemp’s Crimson’s Creative Challenge #78.
While Rambling
WHILE RAMBLING
An awkward pause and hangs
Littering an otherwise tidy saunter
A moveless tension, a muted shudder
A waltz, a tango beyond sight or sound
Flowery meadow once dappled glades
Enfolding the as yet unimaginables
A fresh breeze stirs the stillness
Pops the wig bubble and I walk on
Oaks A’borning
Thanks to my kind friends Phil and Susan this piece of mine was included in the Mind Trees Of The Urban Forest* project, performed by John Chambers.
Nature And The Unnatural
NATURE AND THE UNNATURAL
That which is so obvious,
so moving
to many of us
seems though invisible
to those
whose eyes are fixed
solely on shekels.
