Wonderful (Full Of Wonder)

Too long a time stuttering in monoflex
Stuck down in here’s back o’ beyond
Buried deep, deafened by multitudes
Of fears, of hopes, desires, imaginings
Vain vicissitudes and comeuppances
Blew through explosively, wonderfully
Announcing preaching days are over
Took flight, the sky’s the limitless limit

White Dove Blessing

Fly free, free from hate
Peace, both within and without
Fear not, love instead

To not drink
a toast to life
is ungrateful.

To not drink
a toast to death
is unbalanced.

Like a swallow
with but one wing,
unable to soar.

Acceptance …

Is it the key
Or else a link

In the chain
That binds us?

Explorations continue …

Free Time

Time be essential
So them taught us in’m school

Explored beyond black ‘n’ white

Scabs And Shackles

Wouldn’t mind dying
He wouldn’t mind anything
He has his freedom

Today Is Chelsea Manning’s Birthday

Free Chelsea

To send her a birthday card go to

If you don’t why this is of vital importance then please investigate; everything you need to know is out there on the net. (Until yet more of our precious freedom is removed.) For younger folk, please check out the Nuremberg trials. Your schooling probably either ignored or misrepresented what it had to say but in essence the message is that “I was only following orders” is no defence. And in my opinion never is. Those who act from their heart and soul are always worthy of respect rather than torture and imprisonment. Manning knew the risks yet she followed her heart. Shall any of us do less?

Answers live within
We are schooled to look out there
Or not look at all
We were born to overcome
And shed all conditioning

Truckin’ – Got my chips cashed in
Keep truckin’ – like the doodah man
Together – more or less in line
Just keep truckin’ on

Arrows of neon and flashing marquees out on Main Street
Chicago, New York, Detroit – it’s all on the same street
Your typical city involved in a typical daydream
Hang it up and see what tomorrow brings

Dallas – got a soft machine
Houston – too close to New Orleans
New York – got the ways and means
But just won’t let you be

Most of the cats that you meet on the street speak of True Love
Most of the time they’re sittin’ and cryin’ at home
One of these days they know they gotta get goin’
Out of the door and down to the street all alone

Truckin’ – like the doodah man
Once told me you got to play your hand
Sometimes – the cards ain’t worth a dime
If you don’t lay ’em down

Sometimes the light’s all shinin’ on me
Other times I can barely see
Lately it occurs to me
What a long strange trip it’s been

What in the world ever became of sweet Jane?
She lost her sparkle, you know she isn’t the same
Living on reds, vitamin C and cocaine
All a friend can say is “Ain’t it a shame”

Truckin’ — up to Buffalo
Been thinkin’ – You got to mellow slow
Takes time – You pick a place to go
And just keep truckin’ on

Sittin’ and starin’ out of the hotel window
Got a tip they’re gonna kick the door in again
I’d like to get some sleep before I travel
But if you got a warrant I guess you’re gonna come in

Busted – down on Bourbon Street
Set up – like a bowling pin
Knocked down – It gets to wearin’ thin
They just won’t let you be

You’re sick of hangin’ around and you’d like to travel
You’re tired of travel, you wanna settle down
I guess they can’t revoke your soul for tryin’
Get out of the door, light out and look all around

Sometimes the light’s all shinin’ on me
Other times I can barely see
Lately it occurs to me
What a long strange trip it’s been

Truckin’ – I’m goin’ home
Whoa-oh baby, back where I belong
Back home – Sit down and patch my bones
And get back truckin’ on
