A Tanka In Autumn
A TANKA IN AUTUMN
Pox on verbiage
All these dragooned syllables
Listen closely as
The sound of a falling leaf
Declares “nothing to declare”
Life Doubled: Senryu
LIFE DOUBLED
These shaded feelings
Why did we not express them?
Words cannot describe
Spellmeister II
SPELLMEISTER II
Exhausted
Lets go words
Lets go all images
In vivid silence
String quartets
Sprout pirouettes
Free of intent
Dances and teases
Patterns born of chaos
Waterfall: Shadorma
WATERFALL
We so like
To stop, close these eyes
Stay stock-still
Motionless
Lean into the sound until
Eyes are forgotten
Intuition Tuition
INTUITION TUITION
Still the mind chatter
Pay attention and listen
Silence speaks volumes
Sweet Nothings
SWEET NOTHINGS
In soft silent snowflakes
The Great swirls all around us
Whispering sweet nothings
Intended for no ears but those
Of all these ancient trees
And – if I attend – mine
Leave Your Thoughts
LEAVE YOUR THOUGHTS
I left my thoughts
My thoughts left me
My thoughts departed
While I. left remained
Alone in an aloneness
Awaiting fresh thoughts
