Pain doesn’t hide, not really.

OF COURSE I’M OK
One can easily hide one’s pain from others
Since generally they aren’t paying attention
One can hide one’s pain from oneself too
Temporarily at best – and only at a cost
I think I’m a master at the art of hiding mental and physical pain.
Or should it be mistress? (At the risk of starting a fresh debate on the significance of labelling? 😉 )
