Travelling (Reposted)
TRAVELLING
Here a trunk
…full of souvenirs
There a wardrobe
…full of costumes
A comfortable chair
…to enjoy the present
A mirror
…… for reflection
And an open door
…with a WELCOME mat
…for the future
“In the night the walls disappeared
In the day they returned”
This is room enough
…for a journey

Indeed there are those who assert that it is the *only* way. I am currently half way through composing a poem on that very question. 🙂

I’m pondering on a poem about dreaming. I shied away from using dreams in my poems because I felt I was spending too much time dreaming instead of living. In my younger days dream was included in most of my poems. Which unfortunately I lost. 😦

There are several words, words like “dream” and “freedom” that can still sound the same while changing radically in meaning as we develop along our path. We both recognise this truth, Kim, I believe.

I love this journey of words. It covers all spaces. Traveling in the night, making dreams of Paris lights or Pyramids in Egypt, and when day breaks, all returns, all filled with contentment with what is. [my journey felt this way]

Everything, every place, everyone exists in the NOW, that’s where all things are possible; your room is the beginning & the end of infinity…
