Dunnow’s Recompense
DUNNOW’S RECOMPENSE
To find strength and comfort in uncertainty
Is the reward for an earnest searching
Beyond the generally agreed upon
And thenceforth universally decreed
Coupling And Decoupling
COUPLING AND DECOUPLING
Power she had in mind, in body too
He also had his power, duly exerted
And weaknesses (carefully disguised)
They once so hip, but now replaced
Following their gradual disrobement
As together all’s well that ends well
A Safe Harbour
A SAFE HARBOUR
When you are alone
You may say, “I am OK”
And no one mocks you
But if that’s still not the case
Your journey’s not yet over
Oh To Be As Water
Look see the wave crash
Listen to the mighty roar
Watch the droplets fly
Smashed to smithereens and yet
The ocean repairs itself

Strength
STRENGTH
The weak cannot become strong
By struggling they only make themselves weaker
The strong are eternally strong
They recognise their weakness
Woman Of The Sea
WOMAN OF THE SEA
Sail on then, my lady, whatever befall you
Bent but unbroken, unbowed by the squall
Weatherbeaten cheeks, chiselled and carved
By years of wild wind and waters spent defining
Your signature inner diamonds set shining in
Spangles of teardrops and sparkling laughter
Sail on then, till that far harbour find you
Enfold you in its loving arms once again
No more call to brave the callous blast
Home the weary traveller, home at last
