Observations

OBSERVATIONS

No me to be right
Likewise no me to be wrong
What we encounter
Is what we see it to be
The observer no less so

~~~~~~~~~~~
“The world is an illusion; it has no real existence. And this is what is meant by ‘imagination’ (khayāl). For you just imagine that it (i.e. the world) is an autonomous reality quite different from and independent of the Absolute Reality, while in truth it is nothing of the sort. Know that you yourself are an imagination. And everything that you perceive and say to yourself, ‘this is not me’ is also an imagination. So that the whole world of existence is imagination within imagination.”
– Ibn Arabi.
So Be It
SO BE IT
Until we have learned how
To love and respect ourselves
We are simply playing at
Loving or respecting
Anyone else at all
And if this requires us
To struggle through hell
As may well be the case
Before we can return
Healed, strengthened
Then so be it
Holy Foolishness
HOLY FOOLISHNESS
Much wisdom may be accrued
Through simple observation
Free of the rampant filtration
That converts it into nonsense
Lessons
LESSONS
We are not always
Comfortable (yet, at least)
With our new wisdom
Over The Brush
OVER THE BRUSH
Ms. Emotion; Mr. Understanding
They are almost like two different
And contrasting forms of address
While still sharing the same house
Two Worlds
TWO WORLDS
There are always two worlds
Two situations
One on either side of the eye lens
Always try to keep them in synch
Remember
Be warned!
To deliberately separate them
Is always to invite trouble
