Stone Me!

STONE ME!
Life arises/arrives
In so so many forms
And all inter-related
Best observe, interact
Without attachment
For it is after all as it is

Autumn Pause

AUTUMN PAUSE
In between brief showers
Blazing sunlit moments
Illuminate the path
As I hurry along.
Leaf after golden leaf
Attracts my attention.
Should I count them? Compare?
Life is too short for that.
Gifting

GIFTING
When a gift
Is truly a gift
Then the giver
Has let go
And the future
Of said gift
Is in the hands
Of the recipient
Shush!

SHUSH!
These emotional symphonies of yours
With their hypnotic little melodies
Encore after encore
The last thing they need is your applause

Obstacles

OBSTACLES
With quiet mind and open heart
A thirst for conflict has no place
There is no end of time or space
Flow round the obstacle instead

Learning To Let The Heart Bleed

LEARNING TO LET THE HEART BLEED
They say you’re at your biggest
When you apologise …
All I know:
I feel at my smallest.
You both have little lies to tell
So that it won’t seem so bad,
But you accept them
Because you’re so glad to have each other back.
“Learn to distinguish between good and evil,
But never have a bad thought about anyone.”
“Then how shall I accept the triumph of evil?”
“The same way you accept the triumph of good.”
