Obstruction
OBSTRUCTION
Solitary, ashen
Hollow footsteps echo
Across the great hall
Absent any like-minded
Outside in the glare
A multitude in sackcloth
Sheep and cattle tethered
We see in it greatness gone
And the lesser come upon us
A market place
A slaughterhouse
A gaming house
A gaudy brothel
A mortuary
A graveyard
A withered stump
Dissemblance: Senryu
DISSEMBLANCE
I feel so sorry
For that single glass of wine
Sat there on its own
The Perils Of Social Isolation
The Perils Of Social Isolation.
REMEMBER. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
REMEMBER. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
REMEMBER. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
THE ISOLATION ILLUSION
Each WE a finger.
Without others no more WE!
Many fingers > one hand.
REMEMBER. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
REMEMBER. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
REMEMBER. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
Weavers We (A poem)
WEAVERS
The past casts shadows over the present
Just as the present casts shadows over the future
Everything in the one tapestry is interwoven
The wise weaver will bear this fact in mind
And so avoid the trap of uncaring isolation
