Unfathomable Muse: Four By Six/Acrostic

Sylph

UNFATHOMABLE MUSE

Delicate dancing sylph
Elegant fairy queen
Everlasting fount of
Poem after poem

Poet Recalled: Shadorma

POET RECALLED

The bladder
Grabs the microphone
And cries out,
“Come back here.
Bugger creativity.
Prioritise, son!”

Poet’s Morning

POET’S MORNING

Sipping early tea
Savouring another’s words
Fresh inspiration
Old farmer ploughs his meadow
Rich tang of freshly turned soil

Me As Esme

ME AS ESME

Meanders Esme
As cloud she says
More like to as planet
A stone(d) throw(n) away
A queenly throne bestowed
From whence at whim descend
As yet unthought, as unlikely
Words plucked betimely
Mischievous bedfellows
Beckoning pause for
Notions embowelled
Beneath the bric-à-brac
Littering the quotidian
Out-the-box conjectures
Jasmin sweet upon the air
Breathe deeply and sigh
Momentous moment
Immortalised, free

Ongoing Creation

ONGOING CREATION

Inhabit your life until it creaks, cracks open
Loudly ringing for a change – for transition

Hopefully, dutifully – inspirationally calling
Out to each and every reader passing by

In time words appear … “Beautiful poem.”
You reply: “Thanks for your kind words.”

Spellmeister (21b)

SPELLMEISTER

Lets go words
Lets go images
String quartets
Pirouettes
Drops intent, spins and teases
Patterns from chaos

SPECIAL DELIVERY

Sit back and let it be.
Recite, “Aware, aware.
Relax, relax.”; await
till the muse delivers.

Trimurti (The Writer’s Lot) – (A Four By Six)

TRIMURTI (THE WRITER’S LOT)

Creating. Destroying.
In between? Sustaining.
What about abstaining?
That’s when there’s writer’s block.

Departure Lounge

DEPARTURE LOUNGE

Motion suspended
Awaiting call to action
Anticipation
Flickering candles of thought
Like tiny sparks in the night
