The One Question: Senryu
THE ONE QUESTION
Now is the question
That has us stumped till we see

Skin Deep: Four By Six
SKIN DEEP
Complexity can be
Such a burdensome gift
So sympathise with those
Who prefer the shallows
The Achievement
THE ACHIEVEMENT

To gain some something
Which they do not have
But that of relinquishing
That which they are not
Sweet Home (Even In) Alabama
SWEET HOME (EVEN IN) ALABAMA
Never mind the fragrance
Of the burgeoning verdure
Feel the unspoken pressure
Diversity is a cussword here
Imported from elsewhere
Born and schooled here
Taught, “Us versus Them”
Until I took a first toke
First shock, then clarity
We are one, you and I

The Axeman Cometh
“If a bank is too big to fail, it is too big to exist!”
– Bernie Sanders, May 26, 2015

Unconcerned
UNCONCERNED
Within timelessness
Our desires, pleasures, pains
Always been and gone
While we stumble on blindly
Best to release and relax
