Comet Alert: Quatrain
COMET ALERT
His mind and body were discovered
During her ongoing extensive search
For objects that might at some point
Disastrously impact with her planet
Happy Families
HAPPY FAMILIES
The silence spoke volumes
Passive aggression
She didn’t know the term
But then she had no need
She had no real desire
To continue living
And so was quite grateful
For his contribution
He had no real desire
To continue living
And so was quite grateful
For her contribution
Passive aggression
The silence spoke volumes
He didn’t know the term
But then he had no need
These Furrowed Brows
THESE FURROWED BROWS
You can spot thinkers
But what preoccupies them
Is it of value?
Intercourse
INTERCOURSE
I confess I always found
Any attempt at true contact
Rather anxiety-provoking
(Not that I could not
Camouflage that pretty well)
Never had much tolerance
For fatuous role play
In later years however
The problem has lessened
It’s not that I cured the anxiety
But that I so rarely encounter
Anyone who is capable of contact
Even should I feel the desire
OCD
OCD
So fastidious
Intensify each moment
Life a daunting chore

MISMANAGEMENT
Wishing to get into the next moment
Believing we shall find there a peace
A place of relaxation and enjoyment
Run hither and thither, helter-skelter
Convinced thus, we transform a now
Into an enemy, an annoying obstacle
When it could’ve itself been a peace
A place of relaxation and enjoyment
