Astral Travelling

ASTRAL TRAVELLING

it came and took me
like in the old days
mocking and flirting
like before

butterflies, the feelings
I used to get
from sleeping
bigger
more spacious

I dreamed of being happy
I enjoyed it so much
I slept for hours
for a year

who have I seen on the other side?

I wasn’t him
but I was him
wearing my glasses
I had to stare, to be sure

it would have been okay
we were both going contra-sense
our heads turned to each other
was he staring at me?

I wanted to follow him
like we used to do as children
part of me would have yelled/waved/said something
would have hugged him and cried

better not
I have chosen rationally
no point in digging up the past
I’m still nostalgic, though …

Jaya Gaia Sister Deva

JAYA GAIA SISTER DEVA

no tale so sweet
a spirit claiming kinship
nothing less or more

a secret
confessed
not to deceive
but to house her sorrow
her mischief and delight

hush

a sound
clear and sharp in the stillness

the call was a signal
for need and instant
no time left to us
great hounds had been loosed

and the light in the night
saw proper

showed no distance
but
a new and deeper feeling
of kinship

The Mysteries Of Time

THE MYSTERIES OF TIME

this summer day
for the first time
waking to reality
to heart
growing
open to a new view
without boundaries

a quiet space
creative
souls in process
lifetime after lifetime together

at any time
take a moment
where the winds are not felt
where you can find peace

you will know warmth in your heart
always
soon

Goin’ Back

GOIN’ BACK

purposely becoming one
i made myself address my nature
a fresh look
a change of heart

i decided to drop the act
and rest

be

feel

be honest

go back
to the life i love
content with the moment

guess it is time to be

just be

And please don’t forget to listen to the Byrds’ track. It’s an integrated part of the whole.

AM

AM

no idea
empty
emotion spent

no sound
no tears
now she understood

forgiveness
a silent prayer
understanding and acceptance

the wind
the sun
the sky

the last pain
the last tears
the last sorrow

cried
out into eternity

am

The Wanton Iconoclast

THE WANTON ICONOCLAST

upon a time
suited well
that everybody
had a very great mind
but dared not
because it was dangerous
talk beyond that you see here

said I
I’ll go this way and that
and shall see “there”

gathering nuts
running after butterflies
gathering bouquets of flowers

arrive at the door
tap, tap

the latch will go up

greatly amazed

what big eyes
the better to see all

Swimming Lessons

SWIMMING LESSONS

the years
give a little more depth

a few acquaintances
mostly simply teachers
never concerned truly

troubles shared
more than understood
and that
alone

playing
sleeping
arguments
took place

toxic words
and apologies
next day

on and on

best learn to wake up
in the moment
some good
some bad

and battle

with love
always lingering
waiting
…..

Insufficient

INSUFFICIENT

I will always
find myself honest

a way of making me happy is
what I want

Tuesday
Wednesday
arrived

should I say how sad I am
these days
I barely move

I call

I wait for a sign

so tired

so sleepy

I hold my tears

everyday

I am myself

I am mad
because honest
is not helping

Making Love Love

MAKING LOVE LOVE

ignore the words
and
avoid the blood

proceed to the things that reveal
emotional restraint
suppression

make naughtiness of course
a wink and a nod
and nuanced

if you prefer
a battle
between dumb primal desires

that isn’t a skill

the giant system
that is life
requires your caress

– the sort of thing that feels casual
