It Seems

IT SEEMS

Life is good
It seems
But not all the time

And so we try to pick and choose

Life is bad
It seems
But not all the time

And so we try to pick and choose

What life is
It seems
Is a mixture of the above

We may wish to pick and choose

But the choice
It seems
Is not always ours to make

Some wishes, some choices
It seems
Have been stolen from us

Time is the acknowledged thief
It seems
But no arrest is expected

In the foreseeable future

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.
