Strider: Reposted

STRIDER

Striding on through the world
Drawing it close around her
Like a pair of old slippers
Worn smooth by tireless pacing

Striding on through the world
Drawing it close around her
Like a comforting cloak
Proffered in a time of poverty

Striding on through the world
Drawing it close around her
Like a stuttering lighthouse
Glimpsed at the edge of revelation

Striding on through the world
Drawing it close around her
Like an envelope addressed to the future
Scrawled in an unknown tongue

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.
