Dawn’s Promise: Senryu
DAWN’S PROMISE
The day dawns over
Our horizon and then it’s
Downhill all the way

Such is the rise and fall of dawn and dusk… as well as Empires and Nations..
We must all make the most of each and every Day..
As we learn to evolve through our mistakes..
Sending special thoughts over the airwaves, and best wishes for Christmas and the New Year..
Take care Ben… ๐

There’s nothing like a little optimism, and that that was not a little like optimism! ๐

I’ve always loved the expression ‘downhill all the way’ with its delightful ambiguity, whilst being a bit frustrated sometimes when not being able to tell in which sense the writers is using it in a given instance. As a poet of course I use this to my advantage. ๐ฟ
