Words To Music

It’s a while since we had music. But no more. 😀

You want words?
Hear and think on.
Awakening is but a breath away.
But staying (t)here …
Now, that’s another matter …
Meantime … (Me in time)
sit back and enjoy …

Talk, it’s only talk
Arguments, agreements, advice, answers,
Articulate announcements
It’s only talk

Talk, it’s only talk
Babble, burble, banter, bicker bicker bicker
Brouhaha, balderdash, ballyhoo
It’s only talk
Back talk

Talk talk talk, it’s only talk
Comments, clichés, commentary, controversy
Chatter, chit-chat, chit-chat, chit-chat,
Conversation, contradiction, criticism
It’s only talk
Cheap talk

Talk, talk, it’s only talk
Debates, discussions
These are words with a D this time
Dialogue, duologue, diatribe,
Dissension, declamation
Double talk, double talk

Talk, talk, it’s all talk
Too much talk
Small talk
Talk that trash
Expressions, editorials, explanations, exclamations, exaggerations
It’s all talk
Elephant talk? Elephant talk? Elephant talk!

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. It’s probably been almost 50 years since I last heard King Crimson and I’ve never heard this one. Thanks!

    • Only Robert Fripp remains from the original King Crimson, and their work is quite different, as you can hear. 🙂

      • Yes, it is. I was introduced to them through the “In The Court Of The Crimson King” album. I liked it a lot.

      • I was never too struck with the first edition of King Crimson but “Discipline” and its two sequels remain firm favourites. If you enjoyed “Elephant Talk” perhaps some more exploration might be worth undertaking? After a while KC had another major transformation before releasing “Lark’s Tongues In Aspic”. which may just be my favourite of all their albums.

  2. Great track from a strong album.
