PARENTAGE

We learn
To live
With huge
(Unwelcome)
(Uninvited)
Dollops of ignorance
Mother and father
Mimic dragons
Protecting their odious hoard
Whiffering down the line

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. I think kids forget that their parents are only kids, themselves – albeit older kids – learning right along with them. My youngest gets this sporadically, then forgets. My oldest has the Mother archetype right in her crosshairs, and it’s not all bad – just how it is. Lots to learn in this life, for sure.
