😦 😦 😦
There’s a new energy rising up (finally, the marches I’ve been waiting for) which has been encouraging. If we can just keep the momentum going. Hoping……. Something’s gotta give.
Yes. I just hope it won’t be too violent. The militarisation of the police has been quietly progressing for years and I have already heard of a few nasty incidents.
Hadn’t thought of that. Peaceful marches and demonstrations could someday be outlawed. But then we truly will be living in a “Brave New World”. Ack! Stop the world and let me off! 😰
The oulawing has already begun.
Thank you for the link, Ben. I hadn’t read the details before. I don’t think it’ll go much farther than this though, and I haven’t noticed any real changes. After all the assassinations (and attempted ones) we’ve had in this country, plus our lack of gun control legislation, politicians are understandably paranoid about their safety. We’re still free to march and demonstrate at this point. What I worry more about is apathy. But we’re seeing grassroots changes in the right direction. Hoping…. 🙂
Fingers and toes crossed.
I kind of laughed when I read this….am i a terrible person? 😯

I’ll leave you to decide that for yourself.
I thought of it as a sad scene in the old black and white movies …took me a while to realise it was a trump reference. So …am I forgiven?
Nothing to forgive. It was I who was clearly overly oblique. 😦
Nah…I am a pretty dense person …or at least everyone i know has told me that XD
Doesn’t mean they’re right though. 🙂

A little risky I hazard. Given the Moron-in-charge who knows where you might land up.
A strain on our compassion to be sure.
Was it worth it?
You do know this is about Trump, right?
No, but I think my words still apply. Great verse, Ben
Well I think the past twelve months speak for themselves. Thanks for the compliment.
You’ve a real knack for being succinct Ben. – *nods a lot*

So much to say, so little time. (And thank you. 🙂 )
An unpleasant presidency so far, that’s for sure. 😦

Thank you for the repost. 🙂
My pleasure. You so often write my life in potent brevity.
I like that phrase “potent brevity”. Don’t be surprised if it turns up in a senryu near you sometime soon. 😀 I’ll thank you in advance.
You’re welcome in advance! I look forward to the hybrid.
