Heralds Of Peace

All too frequently feeling
as if, as if to be achieving,
achieving all too little beyond
a preaching to an angelic choir.

Well worn, ancient and repetitive
our words while these apostate demons
our counterpoint – admittedly
– are sadly otherwise occupied.

Yet this is our ground. Our ground!
And so here upon it we stand:
bellowing, howling, yelling,
whispering, weeping …

Whichever seems timely and appropriate.

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. Most eloquent, Ben. And all five of those are appropriate…all at once if necessary. Once weeping, to begin again. Peace and love ☮️
