City City City City City

CITY CITY CITY CITY CITY

Here in this city
In this mockery of life
Life eluded me
It eluded everyone
While few noticed its absence

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. Oh, I definitely feel this one… so easy to get lost in all the distractions without noticing. Nice write!

  2. Really like this, Ben. Exceedingly true! I’ve never understood how anyone could enjoy living in a big city. Have mostly lived in the suburbs which is a compromise but at least we had nature all around us. Now since we moved to a small town I’m enjoying it even more. Trees, big yard, a garden, a wetland over the fence, beautiful parks, lakes and rivers just blocks away – love it! My only distraction is WP but I love this too. Poetry, good people, life is good “here”. ❣️
