Vincent’s Brother’s Brother

VINCENT’S BROTHER’S BROTHER

Are you also one
I wonder who are unknown
Until they are gone?

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. I often wonder this. Are you?

  2. That reminds me of fractals for some reason. Metaphors within metaphors into infinity….

    • Yes. πŸ™‚ And talking of fractals …

Have you seen (and heard- it features THE BEST VERSION of Rhapsody In Blue I’ve ever heard!) this wonderful video:

      • Love it! (Couldn’t see the whole thing as my computer monitor kept blacking out – need a new one) but enjoyed much of it. Haven’t seen that particular one (yes, great rendition of Rhapsody in Blue). On our educational channel years ago there was one that was completely mesmerizing as it went deeper and deeper into the “Paisley” pattern. (An older poem of mine has the line “they say the gods wear paisley” which was a referral to fractals). But ANYway, the visuals and the mathematics of fractals have fascinated me ever since. Not that I understand them! πŸ˜ŒπŸ˜‰

Thanks for the link, Ben. I’ll watch it again someday when I get a new computer.

      • Understanding is not always required for appreciation. (Thank God. πŸ™‚ )

      • Slightly related to this, don’t know if you read one of my recent poems, “Affinity”? Might be one you’d like. πŸ¦‹

      • Not as yet. As I think you know I am a little behindhand at present with spurts of catching up. I’ll try to do you next. πŸ™‚ I can’t think of any post of yours I didn’t like – at least.

      • No problem. I know all about getting behind (for weeks at a time). Never did fully catch up with everyone, unfortunately. My thoughts continue to be with you and yours.

      • Thank you, Betty. You are appreciated and I haven’t forgotten about the promised e-mail either. Blessings.
