Don’t look a gift horse
In the mouth the saying goes
That’s where the fangs are
But they never tell you that
Or the reason why they don’t

    • Thank you kindly. Like the Cookie Monster but not so friendly. Wonderful quote from Doctor Who a few weeks back: “I’m not Scottish, I’m just cross.” It’s still making me laugh. Perhaps without Peter Capaldi’s way of saying it it, and in his Scottish accent too, it may not have stood out so.

  2. Google, amazon, the chaos caused when a failure sends the network of an airline into paroxysms . . . I think I should print out everything Ethel and I have written and not depend so much on this computer. Still, I have Ben Naga, John Stevens, Nick Moore, Betty Hayes Albright, and so many more because of this computer. Aaaachh!

A horse’s face is sweet, but its bucking can throw you off and end up breaking your tailbone.
