Both perennial and timely.
I’ve never heard this version but I have read that this was Dylan’s most misunderstood song.
Yet as relevant as ever, I think.
Indeed. Good version too.
Ahhh, nice rendition! Have always liked Leon Russell. Song is most relevant these days. Thanks for posting, Ben.
Well, I was listening to it just the other day and I realised I hadn’t posted any music for a while.
Music is ALWAYS good! 🙂
At least when I have a hand in its choosing. I don’t always enjoy others’ I have to say. And moods and situations also react my receptivity and approval. But generally I agree with you. 🙂
Same here. The music has to fit the mood, time and place. It also has the power to change our mood, of course. And sometimes it can be irritating. These days I prefer ballads, adagios, relaxing flute pieces. I don’t respond well to anything frenetic or loud. Though good old rock n roll is almost always energizing. And brings back memories. (Sorry, I’m rambling. 🙂 )
Not at all. Thank you for sharing. I like of view music as a gymnasium for the emotions. 🙂
If you haven’t already at some time, you should use that in a poem… (If you’ve already done so I don’t remember.)
Just in comments, I think.
