Nature II

Both creatures and plants
From ants to elephants
Ginormous or minute
Beauty abounds

Beauty abounds wherever
Whenever we choose
Once given due attention
– Okay sometimes patience

But always attitude, attitude
Birth, growth, blooming and death
No need of any artificial grooming
Simple appreciation, gratitude

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. Yes yes YES!!
Funny, yesterday we were at a park and I was taking pictures of weeds that had gone to seed (of all things) and thinking those very thoughts. Appreciation for all of nature, big, small, in full bloom or at their end…. And over the years I’ve come to love the beauty of wildness more and more – and less so the manicured and pruned. Thank you – another poem to love!
