Of Course I’m OK


One can easily hide one’s pain from others
Since generally they aren’t paying attention

One can hide one’s pain from oneself too
Temporarily at best – and only at a cost

    • Yes, comprehension is a tall order. Observation is at least a step in the right direction?

      I once read about an Indian yogi who kept having people coming to him for teaching and advice so he decided to start acting like a madman and disturbing the peace. The authorities placed him in a lunatic asylum where he continued with the deranged behaviour until eventually he was put into solitary confinement. “At last,” he said once he was alone, “some peace and quiet.”
