Two-faced

TWO-FACED

Some unknown friend came by
Dropping a little white card
Through my letterbox today.

On one side were the words
“The words which are written
On the other side are true.”

On the other were the words
“The words which are written
On the other side are false.”

  3. I like it. Sometimes we’re so busy labeling things good or bad, true or false, that we never really see them as they actually are.

  4. A twisted tongue speaking. I like the perception of the cat is in the box, no he is not, he is inside the box, but he is dead – maybe? Good old Schrödinger. An enigma of true and false. How does one ever know which side is the truth? There is no way to know but accepting they are both true and false. 🙂

  5. For some odd reason, this card reminds me of a little index card I have somewhere, to this day. Got it when I was about 10. One side says “how to keep a moron happy all day (turn over).” The other side says the same thing 😉
