Like A Puff Of Smoke

The ice melts away
As if it had never been
Parting of the ways

Miles and Trane, Stockholm ’60
Both gone now, yet we remain

In gratitude.

  1. That song sounds very familiar but since I was 5 when they played it I doubt I’d remember, even though I’m a born music lover.

  2. It is difficult to see those we grew up with and loved in many way, slip from this world. Leaving behind a foot-print they were here. Yet we miss them when they are gone, as if in their music, art or writing we feel we knew them, just a little. Sad we all have to leave and something may be left behind, mixed in with all the other memories of all the others who lived in this world.

Amazingly beautiful, soulful, and sensual music. It is still very much alive.
