This Beautiful Cruelty

THIS BEAUTIFUL CRUELTY

Stranded ashore, gaping for breath
We blindly gaze, walleyed as fish
Perhaps the depths of the Divine
Are, as advertised, unfathomable

  1. And yet we dare to swim, hungry for the depths….

  2. The Divine takes all forms we couldn’t possibly imagine the extent of them all. While we are wherever we are, we see only a sliver of what is or was or will be. So much is beyond our scope of imagination or reality. Being stranded in the middle of where? Does anyone know their own location? We want to know what we know and more to see the puzzle being created before our eyes. Wouldn’t some of us like to have it all figured out? I suppose living life, seeing the other side, is a journey we all take in our own ways and in our own time.
