Away you were
(In apparency
Though not
In memory)

A scribble here
A scribble there
Now welcomed
Beyond words

More, more there are
But patience, patience
Breathe in, breathe out
What must be will be

Releasing expectation
Whatever else remains
Than hello, then farewell
And yet, as ever, welcome

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. Ben, this really speaks to me – most comforting somehow.

I’m logged in via cell phone as being on computer is hard right now. Not easy to comment this way but will be able to read a little and “like”. 🙂 Hope all is well with you!

    • Comfort? I can go with that. 🙂 I assume the difficulties with the pc are to do with back pain? Good wishes winging your way, Betty. I am fine and thanks for asking. Self medicating with turmeric has greatly diminished the impact of the epileptic “episodes”. Next week I am away camping with an old friend for a couple of days. Always good to hear from you. You are often in my thoughts.

  2. The circle of infinity
    Pulling in all directions
    Arriving and departing
    When do we know finality?
Is this the last or the first?

    Welcome to the circle
    Have a cup of tea
    Spend time for a sip
    Time to leave
    Time to return
    Always time to go
