Or until their innovations are being emulated. 🙂
That is what I am afraid will and is happening. Down with the Koch Brothers and their negativity and their ambushing our government.
And there was I thinking of Picasso, Brecht and Beckett.
Great poem , Ben, however it triggers thoughts in my mind you might not have intended with your poem.
rules are there to be broken not? and that does not stop when one retires, not? 🙂
Cheers , Francina
Thank you, Francina. My senryu was inspired from a quotation from Vicki Bennett:
“The avant garde were the soldiers that ran ahead and got shot so that the main corps could march triumphantly over exactly the same ground without threat.”
Which in no way invalidates reaction to reading my words. 🙂
As long as no one gets hurt why not break the rules. We only live once.
“We only live once.”
Last time I heard the jury was still out on that one. 😉
