Activism

ACTIVISM

They lay down the rules
Here on the crest of the wave
We revision them

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  3. I’m not sure if you mean what I’m interpreting from your words, but I think about this a LOT. We protect species, enact clean air legislation, women’s rights to their own bodies, etc. Then these laws are simply reversed one day when enough politicians decide they don’t like them. All that effort, and for what? To realize, I presume, that activism is at the heart of any true democracy, the way that mindfulness is core to any effective spiritual life practice. Nice post.

  4. I am always amused at how similar we use words.. Act. Action, Auction, Activate. and Activism .. One slip of a letter here and there meaning totally different.. Guess that goes for the Activist too..
