The Power Of Words

To know
That a tomato
Is a fruit
Is knowledge
(q.v. Miles Kington)

To know not to
Put it in
Your fruit salad
Is wisdom
(q.v. ibid)

To believe
That a tornado
Is a fruit
Or put one in your fruit salad
Is (what they call) madness

And yet
We do similar every day
Confusing “sacred space”
With “scared space”
Being but one common exemplar

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. Great poem and thoughts, Ben!

  2. Again you inspire with pondering thoughts that encourages one to think.
