Outside In
OUTSIDE IN
I went to the library
It was full of worlds
The library is in town
And the route to town
Is stored away safe
Here in my mind
I am writing this
Sat at home
Think TARDIS
… and then some

I like the reference to TARDIS (Dr. Who, I presume!)
It IS quite an amazing thing (literally and as a metaphor) – the library with all it contains, the route to get there, and your writing about it while sitting at home. This richness is all inside our heads, a time machine – “and then some” for sure!

Also apart from this extraordinary mental conjuring trick we think/feel we are standing still, whereas in fact we are doing all kinds of movements as the planet is spinning and whizzing round the sun, which is circling in the galaxy, which is …and did I mention the wobble? Our aliveness is amazing, and most often we don’r even notice again
Just saying. 🙂

Ah yes, there is that too! And then perhaps our entire universe is moving relative to other universes… ad infinitum. 🙂

Apart from the stunning visuals, this half hour film contains the best interpretation of Rhapsody In Blue I have ever heard. Enjoy!

Might well heighten but it isn’t compulsory. And besides didn’t I hear that it’s been banned as part of the War On Drugs (or rather Consciousness)

They are trying to give it to us for medicinal purposes. I would be eligible whenever that happens. I use to watch New Age movies like this when I got my first DVR. There weren’t that many affordable movies available so i would pick up these 5 and 10 dollar videos and sit and watch for a few hours.

The US seems to be advancing state by state a propos medicinal use, although the feds are still violating local laws. And as for the UK …

A Brilliant way to conceptualize the library. Funny. I was a librarian for the Bennington College Library & the Westport Library. Among the many worlds I live among. Books of most kinds take you inside the TARDIS & you become lost forever. Books are addicting. GREAT POEM. Love it very much. Jenny 😎

And even if you *do* it it will be worth rereading it today. I just did.

I am watching the film on Fractals. Ever since i discovered them & found out they were shaping the universe, I have been hooked. Never got the hang of creating one on a grand scale. This is a special film. Thank you for guiding me here. 🙂 I love your creativity. ❤

I will do just that. Next project is Proust &/or e.e. cummings. just finished a 29 pt. series on Rilke. I have hear about Borges but i have not taken part in his creativity except through Shawn. I think i mentioned her before. she is my partner of many years. She is more than likely to have his writing. So, i will pass the word along to see if she can dig up a volume or two. Then back around again to Anais Nin & Virginia Woolf. I have books & books of & on V.W. & A.N. collected diaries.
I am still awed by the Library of Babel. What a photograph. Exceptional. I responded on my Tablet. That is harder to use on line for me.
Gotta go. In a Manic phase & have lots of things to do. Already did the living room. I start of task. I finish it. CIao Ciao!!!

But what about the books. You know, libraries have so many possible functions. They are always growing. I still say wow every time i look at the photograph & read some of the text. so much to absorb. Danke

Please relax, my friend. Time (as you and I perceive it) is an illusion and everything (from our perspective) pre-exists itself, so unfold yourself in due course. Worry and anxiety an unnecessary appendage.
