Remembrance Day Again

The dead are long dead
TV robots wear poppies
The wars continue
Empty platitudes distract
Lest we question quid pro quo

  2. Ben, My Husband Hunter and I both agree with this powerful statement you have made for “Remembrance Day.” It is masterful.

  3. Astute truth… alas….
(I like to watch Star Trek NG re-runs – a time in the future when the “federation” has evolved beyond war, poverty, dogma, etc. It’s visionary – I only hope this happens some century. But it won’t, without action in the NOW – as you often say, that’s all we have.)
