About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. Indeed, what if every one woke up to what is actually happening?

    • Well I hope we’d have a good laugh, then a good cry, then roll up our sleeves and start cleaning up the gigantic mess we’ve made of everything. 🙂 And perhaps a few apologies might be in order, and a little forgiveness.

  2. Would be something if they did wake up but I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

  3. Ben, We think this is very important and well written. My Husband thinks “The War on Drugs” is a Load of Pish.

    • Marijuana is deemed a crime worthy of imprisonment (and interesting enough of the withdrawal of voting rights!) while there is no war on the far more dangerous drug alcohol, which is not only legal but promoted by advertisement.

  4. It’s strange. I remember spending a summer about 4-5 years ago indulging in books about the NSA and the US intelligence community. The scale of their surveillance was very apparent to me (especially in Body of Secrets and other books by Bamford) and I wondered why people didn’t react and why others were completely surprised when they heard about PRISM.

    • Perhaps they were being distracted. Aside from their immediate lives and concerns, I think many people’s picture of the rest of the world is drawn exclusively from the media -TV, radio, newspapers and magazines – which don’t exactly cover that type of thing. Not that I’m suggesting for a moment that that is any more than a coincidence. (Not.)
