When we find ourselves lost
When life has become a chore
And each day is the same old
And we have lost the wonder
And delight we had as children
Where did it go, we wonder
The question is the answer
For wonder is itself the key
We no longer pay attention
The way back home is here
Remember to look, to listen
To smell, to savour, to touch
Take time, above all, to feel
If we must find ourselves lost
Let’s find ourselves lost in wonder

  5. It sounds so sensible, doesn’t it? I try to look at things ‘with new eyes’ – when I remember! Thanks for the reminder, Ben.
