You stop a moment and remind yourself
That we are all creatures of habit
The habit of breathing, for one

  2. When I am in a serious panic mode… I try to use deep breathing techniques to calm down. I find it odd that I have myself convinced, at times during a panic attack, that my brain will forget to send the signal to take those breaths.
