Awards, Awards …

What with reading my favourite e-logs as well as doing some writing of my own, not to mention keeping afloat in my “real” life, awards – while much appreciated – have slipped a little behind, I’m afraid. Time to remedy that.

Firstly, my thanks to Betty of Seasonings (and don’t miss Summers of Love ~ (poetry from the 1960’s) either) for the  Genuine Blogger Award. (January 18th) There are no rules, no requirements for this one, but I’ll combine them with the second award, so the lucky recipients will be benefiting from a special two-for-the-price-of-one offer. Some kind of compensation for my tardiness. 😛

Secondly, my thanks to Jackie of pointsthruprose for the ABC Award. (February 6th) There are no directions as to how many fellow bloggers you may pass this on to. As poets who catch my eye with particular pieces are name checked by my “Pick Of The Month” scheme (which doesn’t mean there aren’t other poets out there that I enjoy) I will concentrate here on favourite sites which are (primarily) devoted to other writings. In alphabetical order, then:

addielicious
Aurora, HSP
Bella
Ellie Jenkins
intothenightlife
Liza Vassallo
Miss Audrey
Miss Edee
Tincup

I am also directed to “Share some things about you, but alphabetically, just a word or two starting with each letter of the alphabet.”

Here’s one I made earlier …

INTRODUCING YOURSELF ALPHABETICALLY

Amused, bemused castaway
Delinquent, evanescent, fugitive

Gabbles heedlessly
Incorrigibly juvenile

Knotty

Loves music

Ne’er-do-well
Occupationally puzzled

Quietly rabid
Silently troubled

Unaccountably vain
Witless Xenaphile

Yea-sayer

Zany!

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  5. oh my goodness! I am so honored to be kept so close in your mind and heart – it is people like you that take the time to read me that keep me sharing; I really appreciate the reward you have bestowed upon my writing. I also want to thank you so very much for sharing the “vulnerability” and “shame” strengthening speech and insight; I had never heard of Miss Edee so I thank you again for sharing with me; because that is the kind of stuff I need to fuel me on days when I feel doubtful of my own intuition. thank you for being a blessing in my life; especially to my writing practice of sharing.
