This Is Too Amusing Not To Share

We just had a phone call and learnt that our grandson, who is 5, is writing a series of books based on Star Wars called “Space Wars”. He is writing books 4, 5 and 6 now, and he says he will write books 1, 2 and 3 when he is 30. The characters are drawn in different colours to show whether they are good or bad. (A shame that doesn’t happen in real life. It would make things so much easier. πŸ˜‰ ) The characters’ names are all based on those of characters from Star Wars. But the bit I found really funny is that he has a character called Obi Two, which just cracks me up! πŸ˜€

About Ben Naga

The Spirit that graces me with its passing has no name and stems not from thoughts and words, though it gathers them up as it flows, but from feeling.

  1. Priceless Ben…thanks for sharing and making me smile.

    I love the bit where he won’t make 1,2 and 3 until he’s 30

    • I think he is truly smitten with the “Star Wars” bug at present, in every detail. πŸ˜€ In the same vein, our granddaughter was obsessed by “Mary Poppins” for a while at one time. Starts you to pondering gender stereotyping: the chicken and the egg.

  3. Obi 2 is awesome! Gave me my first chuckle this morning… thank you.

  4. Ben thanks so much for this. It was the first email I read this morning, a perfect way to start the week. I know young people in their 30’s who endlessly debate the validity of the later movies in the star wars stable, and here is a 5 year old accepting it as a template. I can’t wait to tell them your gandson’s story idea, especially Obi 2
Tricia – who is still chuckling.

  5. May our grandchildren keep our hearts young forever, Obi 2.

  6. hahaha, children are precious

  7. Obi Two – love it!! Your grandson sounds very gifted – writing books at 5 years old!

  8. Children have such pure creative energy. I love that he is writing it backwards. I would also love to know the colours of good and bad. hmm interesting???
