Liebster is a German word meaning dearest, and the award is given to up-and-coming bloggers who have fewer than 200 followers.

I don’t know why we bother. What do you think?
Bother with what? the poetry or the awards?
I will answer both.
Poetry: cheap form of therapy and art form, self expression, meditation on words, understanding and opening up other worlds for others.
Awards: cheap form of appreciation to the other artists, karma, self-appreciation and teaches you self-acceptance (learning to take a compliment) and sharing with other bloggers the wonderful words you find that they might not have otherwised visited.
So there, that is the reason why we bother.
Well, that’s the last time I ask you a rhetorical question!
